Jesus Sees Us

There is a conspiracy circulating among us
concerning what has been
done.
A secret so well kept it remains
unknown to almost
everyone.

The REAL Jesus has been complicated,
obfuscated and implicated
in things He never said or did.

His message has been
hijacked,
ransacked, side-tracked
and attacked.

His truths are denied,
uncried and falsified
replaced with lies
and excused with alibies.

But Jesus sees us.

Where is the REAL Jesus?

He has been hidden,
overridden and forbidden
by those who call themselves
churches, prophets priests and
kings
to foster an imposter
made of worldly things.

The savior King
born in the squalor of a
manger
is a complete and total stranger
to these opulent and rich
who lay
claim to
the holiness of His
name.

The Pharisees lived in their
palaces of ease
surrounded by
wealth,
they drank to their health.

You see birds have nests
and foxes have holes
but the Son of God had
no place to lay His
head,
not a room, nor a bed
in the land of living dead.

It is clearly evident to me –
Jesus sees us.

Don't you find it funny
that a god made of money
is worshiped in what Jesus called
a house of
prayer?

That so many believe
the ones who deceive
without mercy,
kindness or
care?

They walk in their blindness
without any kindness.

To make sure that you get it
let me say this
twice
God requires mercy
but they offer
sacrifice.

Is it in fashion
to serve God without passion?

They offer sacrifice
but God demands
love.
They seek praise from each other
not from God
above.

Let me make it
both clear and
simple
are you
able
to turn over a table
or will you side with the money changers
outside the
temple?

Who is your god?
Who do you
trust?
You see the Pharisee
is
us.

Jesus said
you can't serve two
masters,
you'll love one and
despise the
other.
So why are there prophets,
priests and
pastors
who love money
and hate their
brother?

Jesus said that
the whole world would
know
By our kindness -
by the LOVE that we
show!

Not the car that we drive
or the clothes that we
wear.
Not by what we can buy
but by how much we
care!
For the least of these,
His little ones...

 Which fate will you choose,
whose account will you
keep
that of the goats
or that of the
sheep?

The difference was all
in what they
did.

Was there food for the hungry?
Was there drink for the
thirsty?
Or did we live our lives without
compassion or
mercy?

You see He's watching us.
Jesus sees us.

Jesus said "love your enemies",
"bless those who hate and curse
you",
but we don't even love those
who don't hate us - it's
true.

Jesus said that they would kill
in the name of God - what's
more,
they use the name of God to justify
acts of cruelty, blood and
war.

They love it when everyone
speaks so well of
them,
but Jesus said this world
would hate us because of
Him.

Full of pride - they falter
as they approach the altar.
Thanking God they're not like
others,
looking down upon their brothers.

When they give it's to be seen of men,
they fast so we will
see,
how spiritual they are
and how they pray "
unceasingly".

It's a show for all to view,
a spectacle so
grand,
as they reject the praise of God
and seek the accolades of
man.

We honor our traditions
more than the words of
God,
and hide our cold, dark hearts
behind a false
facade.

Though they memorized the scriptures,
they knew God's word yet hated
Him,
they could not recognize the Word
made Flesh standing before
them.

And still we memorize the words,
and follow ritual
tradition,
we know the "words" but not the voice
of He who gave us our
commission.

Who is your god? Who do you trust?
You see the Pharisee is
us.

 All of this must change,
to our First Love we must
return,
else all is done for naught,
all our efforts left to
burn.

Wake up, you who love Him,
you whose hearts are loyal and
true,
leave these lies behind
and seek the ONE who does love
you.

It is so clearly evident -
Jesus sees us.

Message based entirely on the original "open source" code created by Jesus 2000 years ago:

Matthew 23:13 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to."

2 Corinthians 11:13-14 "Such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light."

1 Timothy 6:5 "...who think that godliness is a means to financial gain."

1 Timothy 6:6-10 "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."

He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it a ‘den of robbers."

Matthew 6:24 "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money."

John 12:43 "For they loved praise from men more than praise from God."

In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness."

He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left... For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink... whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

James 5:1-6 "Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you. Your wealth has rotted, and moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver are corroded. Their corrosion will testify against you and eat your flesh like fire. You have hoarded wealth in the last days. Look! The wages you failed to pay the workmen who mowed your fields are crying out against you. The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord Almighty. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence. You have fattened yourselves in the day of slaughter. You have condemned and murdered innocent men, who were not opposing you."

Luke 18:9-14 "
To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable: “Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood up and prayed about himself: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.’ “But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’“I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."

Matthew 6:2-3 "When you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing"

Matthew 6:5-6 "
When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen."

Matthew 6:16-17 "When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting"

Mark 7:9 "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!"

John 5:39-40 "
You diligently study the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, yet you refuse to come to me to have life."

Revelation 18:3 "For all the nations have drunk the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries."

Revelation 18:4-5 "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes."
